UP 4014 - Big Boy Test Run

Union Pacific's Steam program ran a test train of the 4014 'Big Boy' locomotive from Cheyenne to Denver, with an overnight stop at UP's 38th Street Yard. A truly impressive machine - the largest and most powerful operating steam locomotive in the world. Designed to haul freight over the Wasatch Mountains and Sherman Hill on their Transcon line.
